ADMISSION RULES

  1. Student seeking admission in class I to XII will give an entrance test based on syllabus of the previous class and admission will be granted on the basis of evaluation and interview.
  2. Admission to any class in Kindergarten will be on the basis of interaction with the child and parents.
  3.   The Principal's decision will be final.

SCHOOL RULES

  1. A student must carry the student diary to school everyday.
  2. No expensive items should be brought to school. This also applies to the mobile phones, which are not allowed in the school premises. Mobile phones if found, would be confiscated and not returned.
  3. Anything which could cause injury to self or others should not be brought to the school.
  4. Grievous or repeated infringement of school rules will lead to parental discussion, and counseling. Further escalation of such behavior may result in expulsion from the school.
  5. Parents under no circumstances shall be allowed to enter the class rooms or move in the corridors without permission.
  6. School property should be preserved with care and no student should scratch or spoil the desks or chairs or damage any school property or write or draw anything on the walls. Any damage to the school property including ink stains, would be made good at the cost of the offender.
  7. Damage , even accidentally done, should be reported at once to the class teacher or to the supervisor. Any student indulging in destruction of school property will have to pay a fine for the loss incurred.
  8. Students, who come to school, under the care of parents/guardians or care taker should never leave the school premises unaccompanied. In case of any inconvenience , students are to immediately report to the school office.
  9. Students, whose progress in studies is constantly unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to the other students or whose guardians show little interest in the progress of their wards , would be asked to withdraw from the school.
  10. Students cannot be called on the phone during school hours. No student is allowed to use school telephone (except in emergency).
  11. Presents or gifts to the teachers are not allowed on any occasion.
  12. Any student found outside the school premises during school hours without permission will be suspended for atleast one week. Any repetition of this offence will result in expulsion of the student from the school.
  13. Indiscipline, grave insubordination or contempt of authority are sufficient grounds for immediate expulsion from the school.
  14. A child is allowed to wear appropriate civil dress only on his/her birthday.
  15. No gifts should be sent by the parents on the child's /ward's birthday. Only toffees can be distributed. (no chocolates or ‘mithai' ).
  16. Reshuffling of students on regular basis shall be there at the beginning of the session.
  17. Under no circumstances, any child will be allowed to enter the school premises after 07:45 a.m during summers and 8:15 a.m during winters.
  18. Every student is responsible for the safe custody of his or her belongings as the school will not be responsible for loss of any belongings.
  19. Students will not bring vehicles to school.
  20. School is caring very much of each child but unfortunately for any injury to the child , school shall not be responsible.
  21. 85 % attendance is required for any student for promotion in the next class and shortage of 15% can be condoned by the principal on medical grounds. If student is absent for more than 30%; the name of the student will be struck off from school after due notice.

CONDUCT RULES

  1. Students should be fully disciplined and engaged.
  2. Punctuality counts. Students must attend the school in time and reach at least 5 minutes before the first bell rings. The school gate will be close at 08.00 a.m. sharp during summers and 08.45 a.m. during winters. All late arrivals will be sent back home if they arrive after the school gate has been closed. (after being warned twice by the school authorities).
  3. Students under no circumstances shall be allowed to leave the school premises except in a medical exigency or with the prior information given to school authorities two days before.
  4. Shouting, misbehaving, whistling and quarrelling is strictly prohibited in the campus.
  5. Bringing of mobile phones to school is strictly prohibited. Once confiscated the cell phone will not be returned.
  6. Students should use dustbins provided and not litter the premises.

LEAVE RULES

  1. Once the child has come to school he/she should not be asked to come back home or leave the school early for social commitments.
  2. All leave applications must be signed by the parent/guardian. The application must reach the class teacher atleast a day in advance. It must have the sanction of the head of the institution.
  3. If a child wants to avail medical leave then the leave application must be accompanied with a medical certificate issued by a competent medical authority.
  4. Leave applications should be made and signed only by the parents/ guardian, never by a student.
  5. Students with 100% attendance will be awarded with certificate of appreciation.
