Message from the Principal’s Desk
‘There is no end to education. It is not that you read a book, pass an examination and finish with education. The whole of life, the moment you are born to the moment you die, is a process of learning’.
-- Jiddu Krishnamurti
Contemporary times are marked by continuous and accelerated change, especially in the field of technology, making it ever more challenging for the educators of the day to cope with and to continually enhance their teaching-learning processes. Keeping up with the times is an imperative if quality and relevant education is to be imparted in order to prepare the young minds to tackle the future challenges successfully and experience happiness in life. It is therefore incumbent on all stakeholders - the students, the teachers and the parents, to come together and collaborate to make ‘the school timeas the best time’,in this beautiful journey called life. It is said, ‘TEAM’ stands for ‘Together Everyone Achieves More’. Each entity, therefore, has to play its part with responsibility and passion for desirable results to accrue. The need of the hour is wholesome and holistic education wherein we assist and guide our students to hone suitable life skills even as we scale up in the domain of academic excellence. After all, striving for excellence is a skill which can be cultivated and a mindset which can be fostered. We would need to use out of the box ideaswhile leveraging the existing education system to ensure that our students learn to tackle all the exams that life will put them through, with calmness and élan that stems from confidence in oneself. For all of us, failures, if any, should only act as stepping stones towards success.Aseducators and care takers,we owe it to our young learners, to instill in them, the qualities of love and compassion, the values of empathy, team work, self-discipline, commitment, perseveranceand the merits of individual personal growth while nurturing them to stand independently on their own feet with confidence and face the worldly challenges with courage, resilience and optimism. As educators, our role is also to enable and empower the students academically with appropriate tools, which they can use to further enhance their learnings,so as to be successful in the knowledge society of tomorrow.‘Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school,’ said Albert Einstein. So, let us rededicate ourselves to go beyond the obvious and traverse a path less travelled, in creatively bringing the best to our learning community, so that they would feel and live like empowered beings, committed individuals, useful members of the society and responsible citizens of our great country.
Wishing you happy learning! God speed and good luck.
